Projects and Clients

Since 2005, Tanya Zimmerli has provided web and technology services for many clients under the dotLotus umbrella. Below are a few of her favorite projects and clients.

Balance Interactive

  • Intelsat General — Tanya was the project manager for a new Intelsat General website. The project included strategy, design, content editing, implementation of the Drupal site as well as training and documentation. The site features dynamic contact call-outs, in-page slideshows and PDF search.
  • Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce — Tanya provided project management for the implementation of the Drupal-based site and blog. Key features include tight integration of the blog posts, framed WebLinks pages and a new, fresh design.
  • Success in the City — As project manager, Tanya facilitated the implementation of the Success in the City design in a new Drupal and CiviCRM-based website and member management system.

Inner Power Yoga

  • Tanya implemented and manages the Inner Power Yoga site, configured and manages the WordPress blog and manages the newsletter process.

Coconut Coast Weddings & Photography

  • Site Redesign — Tanya implemented the site redesign for Coconut Coast including information architecture, management of design process, contact form creation, gallery configuration and image processing. She currently manages the site and the associated blog.

Ollie Interactive

  • Chick's Picks by Hillary — Tanya provided project management for the implementation of the original Chick's Picks online store (based on OSCommerce) as well as support populating the catalog and configuring the online photo gallery.
  • Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia ReStore — Tanya provided project management for the implementation of the ReStore site and blog as well as creation of the information architecture and wireframes and content editing. The site was implemented using the Expression Engine CMS.
  • La Prima Catering — Tanya provided project management for the implementation of the La Prima Catering online ordering system based in Aspdotnetstorefront.
  • Off-IceStrength.com — Tanya provided project management for the implementation of the Off-IceStrength.com service (now unavailable), which provided professional strength training content to figure skaters, their coaches and parents. Tanya also created MS Word-based templates to be used in creating exercises, workout programs and articles content for the site.
  • Trimble Mobile — Tanya provided project management for several marketing projects for Mobile Solutions division of Trimble including the creation of a Flash-based product demonstration video, an email/direct mail campaign, product sheets and marketing strategy.

Photography 4 Your Space

  • Site Implementation — Tanya implemented the original photography4yourspace.com website including an extended PayPal cart, gallery viewer and CSS-based PHP templates.

Get It

  • Tanya provided planning and project management, system architecture, requirements analysis and specification creation and served as a technical advisor to Get It.

Coburn Creative

  • Life Entrepreneurs — Tanya provided project management, created the templated PHP site, implemented the profile system with synchronization with iContact, implemented a complex, custom set of assessments and exercises with results presented via HTML and PDF, and configured a WordPress blog for the lifeentrepreneurs.com site.

System Resources

  • How To TV Online — Tanya managed the initial release and created the PHP templates, implemented the profile system, and managed the implementation of the databased version of the craft video site howtotvonline.com.

Conservation International (CI)

  • Conservation "Outcomes" Enterprise System — This project was intended to allow CI to identify global conservation priorities and monitor conservation successes and failures in an enterprise-level database system. Tanya provided meeting facilitation, and requirements, system and business analysis.
  • Hotspots Terrestrial Vertebrate Species Search Interface — The project involved converting an Access database of raw species information into a web-based search that integrated with CI's content management system, eXpressroom, using Java, MySQL and Perl. Tanya provided requirements analysis, interface design, database design and data conversion services.
  • Industry and Biodiversity Analysis Tool — A planned project that was intended to build on the Conservation Outcomes Enterprise System to provide industry partners with access to critical biodiversity information through a web-based analysis tool. Although the project was ultimately scrapped in favor a more multi-lateral approach, Tanya provided workflow analysis, high-level requirements analysis and project support.

Fifthgate Solutions

  • Global IntelliSystems — Tanya managed the site redesign for globalintellisystems.com including information architecture, management of design process, copywriting, and storyboard creation for the original homepage Flash element (not currently used).
  • VagusNerveStimulation.com — Tanya provided ongoing support for the vagusnervestimulation.com website including form creation (ColdFusion), site redesign, store configuration (MonsterCommerce, no longer available), Typepad blog support and newsletter creation/support. The site that was implemented by dotLotus is no longer available.
  • XAR Salon — Tanya managed the creation of an online appointment system and implementation of a e-commerce solution in time for the 2005 holiday season. XAR Salon has since changed ownership and this functionality is not available.
